One hat box has been emptied since my arrival into Kojonup with four sales made from the home of my gorgeous hosts, Lisa and Jamie and five pieces sold from Jones Road Emporium. Last night’s champagne showing was pretty quiet and with only one sale, so we loaded up the platters and champas and headed home to find the fellas enjoying an after work beer and lo and behold, who would have thought, it was the men that were looking for hats. The fedora’s were unpacked on the driveway and the wireless eftpos machine enjoyed some car park purchases, proving that you just never know! Today we are heading to the Kojonup Wandecla races where I will be the on-course Milliner, so fingers crossed for some interest and sales. I have also been asked to assist with judging the MENS fashion on the field, so I am sure you can hear my excitement there!!! Oh the dilema of what to wear … Today’s Wandecla is rumoured to be the last official event of it’s kind for the district so coupled with a perfect 31 degree day and lots of excitement one would presume we are in for some bubbles and fun!
